AMBUSH ANNOUNCE TRADE WITH MILWAUKEE
St. Charles, Missouri (February 21, 2025) – The St. Louis Ambush have traded forward Franck Tayou to the Milwaukee Wave, the teams announced today. The Ambush receive defender Robert Williamson and cash considerations.
Williamson, a native of Fishkill, New York, is in his fourth season with the Major Arena Soccer League. In 85 MASL games, he has compiled a career record of 18 goals, seven assists and 107 blocked opponent shots. His 54 blocks last season were good for fourth place on the MASL leaderboard. He played three seasons from 2021 to 2024 with the Harrisburg Heat before joining Milwaukee for the current season.
Tayou is a four-time MASL MVP, and is the league’s all-time leader in goals, points, game-winning goals, single season goals and career games played. The Wave are the ninth team Tayou has played with in his thirteen season MASL career.

The Ambush are back at home on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 7:05 p.m. CT when they host Utica City FC at The Family Arena. February 28 is also Star Wars Night and the first 1000 fans in the door will be treated to posters and a Paulo Nascimento bobblehead.
