AMBUSH ANNOUNCE TWO ROSTER MOVES
St. Charles, Missouri (February 26, 2025) – Ahead of two games this weekend, the St. Louis Ambush announced two roster moves today.
In the first move, the Ambush traded defender Jereme Raley to the Harrisburg Heat for midfielder Riley Urie. In seven games with the Ambush this season, Raley tallied no goals or assists and seven blocked shots. The 2024-25 season is Urie’s second in the Major Arena Soccer League. He played last season with the Empire Strykers and this season with Harrisburg prior to the trade. In 31 career MASL games, Urie compiled six goals, eight assists and 11 blocked shots.
Urie said, “It’s tough leaving a coach you connect so well with like Pat, however as a player you always want to be wanted and I am beyond grateful that the Ambush see me as a player that can help their organization and I am ready to continue this journey!”
In another move, the Ambush sent defender Wil Nyamsi to Utica City FC for cash considerations. The current season is Nyamsi’s sixth with the Ambush and in the MASL. He has appeared in 14 games with the Ambush this season, tallying two goals and blocking 13 shots. His career MASL numbers are 78 games played, 11 goals, 10 assists and 53 blocked shots.
The Ambush play at home twice this weekend. On Friday, February 28, Utica City comes to town for a 7:05 p.m. CT first kick at The Family Arena. On Sunday, March 2, the Ambush host the Dallas Sidekicks at 5:05 p.m. CT.
