Ambush Fan Fest Slated For October 8, 2016

St. Charles, MO – The St. Louis Ambush have announced that their annual Fan Fest will be held Saturday, October 8 at the Family Arena in St. Charles. The Fan Fest features an exhibition game between the Ambush and the Cedar Rapids Rampage.

One of the best parts about the Fan Fest is the cost. Attendance at the Fan Fest and parking at the Family Arena for this special event is absolutely free. “We’ve enjoyed tremendous support from our fans the past three seasons,” said Ambush owner Andrew Haines. “We are happy to be able to repay their loyalty by holding our annual Fan Fest at no cost.”

The October 8 friendly between the Ambush and Rampage will be the second of two contests between the teams that weekend. On Friday, October 7, the Ambush will journey to Cedar Rapids to face the Rampage at the U.S. Cellular Center. The two teams will meet again the next night at the Family Arena in St. Charles.

The Fan Fest will include inflatables for the kids from Twist and Bounce, LLC outside the arena from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the first kick slated for 7:00. Following the match, fans will be able to come down on the turf to meet players and get autographs.

The Ambush will commence their 2016-17 home schedule on November 19 at the Family Arena. The team will compete in the Central Division of the 17-team Major Arena Soccer League.
